Y! Updates

Y! Updates shares your status messages with your friends. When you set a new status message, the friends who have you in their contact list see it in their Y! Updates tab, and you see theirs in yours.

Choosing who sees them

• Only friends who accepted you see your updates.
• Nobody sees an update you set while you're invisible.
• To hide from one friend, use Stealth Settings on that contact: Appear Permanently Offline hides your updates from them too.
• Ignoring someone also hides your updates from them.
